01 Our Commitment
Wild Thistle Moon LLC wants wildthistlemoon.com to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our target standard.
We have not completed a full conformance audit, and we do not claim that every page fully conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA today. We are working toward that target and fix barriers as we find them.
This statement covers wildthistlemoon.com. Disruptor Copy and OriginCert are separate applications with their own interfaces.
02 Measures We Take
- Color contrast. We check text colors against their backgrounds and have raised text contrast on pages including our Terms of Service and links page to meet the WCAG AA minimum.
- Keyboard focus. Links, social icons, and form fields on several pages show a visible outline or highlight when they receive keyboard focus.
- Alternative text. Meaningful images, including gallery images and social sharing images, have descriptive alternative text, and the gallery lightbox carries each image's description into the enlarged view.
- Text scaling. Pages use responsive layouts and relative font sizes, and we do not disable browser zoom, so you can enlarge text with your browser or device settings.
03 Known Limitations
- Pages do not yet include a "skip to main content" link.
- Visible keyboard focus styling is not yet consistent across every page.
- Some animations and transitions do not yet respond to your device's reduced motion setting.
- Some features rely on third-party services, such as Stripe for payments and the social platforms we link to. We do not control the accessibility of those services.
